Drain excess water from tofu
1 Pack of firm tofu
Slice it into rectangles. About 1" thick
On a plate, add corn starch, Cover each tofu slice in corn startch
1/2 cup Corn startch
In a small bowl, stir soy sauce, water, garlic, ginger, and gochugaru
1/4 cup Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp Water, 1 tbsp Garlic, minced, 2 tsp Ginger, minced, 1 tsp Gochugaru or Korean red pepper flakes
On a frying pan, add oil and heat it for 1 minute
2 tbsp Frying oil
Add the tofu and fry one side for 3 to 5 mintues or until crispy and golden brown
Flip and cook for another minute or two
When both sides are crispy and brown, remove from the pan
In the frying pan, add a little bit of cooking oil
Stir in the chopped green onions and pepper on medium-low heat unitl the green onions are translucent
1 Green onion, chopped, 1 Chili pepper of choice
Pour in the sauce
Layer on the tofu. Let it seep in the sauce for 1 minute and flip.
When both sides are covered in sauce, turn off the stove and eat!
