I love strawberry milk but the ones sold at stores are too sweet for me. This Korean strawberry recipe is perfect to customize your level of sweetness and strawberry to milk ratio.
You can use your favorite type of milk! If you’re like me and lactose intolerant, oat milk, coconut milk, almond milk, and etc are great options. My nephew enjoys it with whole milk.
The recipe is simple to make. All you need are three ingredients: Strawberries, sugar, and milk.
It’s great to make this drink in the summertime when strawberries are in season. Although you can make it in the wintertime. Just might need to add more sugar if the strawberries are riped enough.
3 Ingredients Korean Strawberry Milk Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Cold milk or non-dairy milk
- 1 cup Strawberry puree (About a pint of strawberries)
- 2 1/2 tbsp Sugar Can add more or less sugar depending on the ripeness of the strawberries
- 2 Strawberries, diced for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the strawberries and cut off the stems
- Add the strawberries and sugar into a blender and puree for 10 seconds on medium speed. Doesn't have to be complately smooth. Can mash the strawberries and sugar with a potato smasher.1 cup Strawberry puree (About a pint of strawberries), 2 Strawberries, diced for garnish
- In a cup, pour in the strawberry and sugar puree
- Add milk or non-dairy milk1 cup Cold milk or non-dairy milk
- Top it off with chopped strawberries2 Strawberries, diced for garnish
