Hobak Bokkeum (Stir-fried Zucchini)

Simple and delicious Hobak Bokkeum (Stir-fried Zucchini) recipe enjoyed as a side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 tsp salt, fish sauce, salted shrimp/krill
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesamse seed oil
  • 1/2 tsp roasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp water, if pan is dry during cooking

Method
 

  1. Wash zucchinin and cut into half-moon shapeds
    1 zucchini
  2. On a pan, add cooking oil, zucchini, garlic, and salt
    1 zucchini, 2 tsp salt, fish sauce, salted shrimp/krill, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp cooking oil
  3. Saute for 3 mintues
  4. Add 2 tbsp of water if pan is dry
    2 tbsp water, if pan is dry during cooking
  5. Add green onion, sesame seed oil, and roasted sesame seeds
    1 green onion, chopped, 1 tsp sesamse seed oil, 1/2 tsp roasted sesame seeds
  6. Cook until zucchini is soft. Be carefu not to over cook it or it will turn into mush
