Spicy Korean radish side dish has a crispy texture that lightens heavy dishes. It’s packed with a flavor that offers a hint of slightly pickled and spicy taste.

Alternative to Kimchi

While it’s not exactly kimchi, it’s a great option. It lasts longer than express kimchi that needs to be consumed within a day.

What to Eat with Kimchi Radish

It’s great to eat with just rice and a protein of choice. I like it with a fried egg.

Can mix it in bibimbap or with a heavy meal to break up the grease. Store any leftovers in the fridge.

Is Korean Radish the Same as Daikon Radish?

Kind of but not really. Korean radish or “mu” is shaped like a potato with a green top. Daikon radish is longer and thinner. Both are sweeter than red radishes that are a bit peppery.
